A Hays family is asking for prayers and support from the community. Hays student Jacob Hill, 11, is currently recovering from injuries sustained in a February 3rd accident. Hill has undergone brain surgery and is currently in a medically induced coma.

As stated on the GoFundMe page:

Jacob needs prayers, thoughts, and support from family, friends, and everyone in our community. He is a student at Hays High School, and is a loving and kind son, brother, and friend. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and his family needs your help!  Please donate what you can, as we all know medical bills and long stays at the hospital can be a huge toll on a family. This is a family who would help anyone if they needed help and we hope we can show them that we would do anything for them! There is no amount too small, as every little bit helps! If you are unable to donate at this time, please share and keep this family in your prayers. If you need any more information on how to help please feel free to contact Leah Hart, Leslie Madry or Susan Manning-Evans.

The GoFundMe currently has raised over half of its $20K goal.

Hill is also featured on the Hays CISD Helping Our Neighbors Page.
