Happy Halloween, Happy Spooky Season, Happy October, etc etc etc.

As the first cooking article of the month, and with the month being October, I thought it was appropriate to make a Halloween themed breakfast. So with that being said, today I am going to teach you how to make a Frankenstein breakfast smoothie (Frankensmoothie).

The ingredients for your spooky Halloween breakfast smoothie will be spinach, banana, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, frozen blueberry, water, and an additional handful of fresh blueberry or blackberry (whichever you prefer). You will need one cup of fresh spinach, one ripe banana, half a cup of frozen mango, half a cup of frozen pineapple, a fourth cup of frozen blueberry and one cup of water. Add ice if you’d like. (Don’t not read just bc of the spinach, it’s a necessity).

Using your blender, combine all of your ingredients (besides the additional fresh blueberry or blackberry) and mix until well blended and smooth. The end result should be green.

With a black marker, draw a scary Frankenstein face on a glass jar and pour in your smoothie and top it off with the fresh blueberry or blackberry.
